Some artists are unique with the works they create. Carlos Caluwier is one of them.
For years he has been trying to develop that perfect form, a statue that omits all unnecessary elements, the pure aesthetic arc. It took him years, lots of sweat, but he didn't give up and in the end he made it: Corpus. Creations that keep their uniqueness whatever height or colour, wherever they are exhibited.
I'm glad he didn't quit.
MD.
